OUTREACH Emergency Alert System

Because the City of Winter Park realizes the importance of immediate notification, it is using technology to its advantage to send out notifications such as extreme weather conditions, boil water alerts, power restoration status, and hurricane/tornado warnings that can impact your business, home or neighborhood. Now is the perfect time to be prepared for emergencies by signing up for the city’s emergency alert system, OUTREACH, powered by CodeRED®. In addition to outdoor warning sirens throughout Winter Park, OUTREACH will notify residents and business owners of impending emergencies via their home phones, cell phones, and/or email.

Outreach

To ensure no one is omitted, the Winter Park Police Department urges all individuals and businesses, who have unlisted numbers or use a cell phone as their primary phone, to add their contact information to our database on the Winter Park OUTREACH Emergency Alert System. Required information includes first and last name, street address (physical address, no P.O. boxes), city, state, zip code, and primary phone number, additional phone numbers (optional) and email address. This system will be used to notify city residents and businesses only.
